Winner: Gaa

Led by Chef Garima Arora, Gaa continues to define the future of Indian dining in Bangkok. The restaurant is celebrated for merging age-old cooking traditions with modern techniques and presentation. In 2025, Gaa broadened its repertoire with creative new formats that extend beyond its acclaimed tasting menus. June saw the debut of Weekend Afternoon Tea: Chai Time, a refined reimagining of India’s tea culture, complete with masala chai, artisanal teas, and filter coffee paired with modern interpretations of street-side favorites, from chaats and mithais to jaggery cookies, bridging nostalgia and innovation.

Inddee

In July 2025, Inddee unveiled a new tasting menu. Located in a century-old villa on Soi Lang Suan, the restaurant blends traditional Indian flavors with contemporary innovation, offering diners a sophisticated and immersive experience. Under Chef Sachin Poojary, each nine-course tasting menu explores India’s diverse culinary landscapes. Charcoal grilling and seafood dishes—reflecting Chef Poojary’s Japanese background—stand out as highlights. Head Sommelier Thanakorn “Jay” Bottorff curates over 580 labels, including 100 wines by the glass and five pairing options, ensuring every course is complemented perfectly, even boasting a zero-alcohol tasting option.

Haoma

At Haoma, Chef Deepanker Khosla, known to most as DK, leads with the motto, “We grow what we cook, we cook what we love.” That philosophy guides every detail, from sourcing sustainable, seasonal ingredients to cultivating much of the produce in the restaurant’s own urban farm. Farmers, breeders, and fisherfolk also play a vital role, ensuring the tasting menus—both vegetarian and non-vegetarian—remain deeply connected to the local ecosystem. Served in a Nordic-style dining room where even the décor embraces recycled plant material, Haoma’s plates balance refined technique with purpose.
